Ma perché ogni tanto invece di inventarci cose nuove non prendiamo da altri le cose che funzionano?
EUROKEY è una chiave dedicata e utilizzata unicamente da persone con handicap per l’apertura e la chiusura di porte o per la gestione di impianti di trasporto, quali ascensori e montascale, dotati di una serratura con cilindro universale Eurochiave.
Un sistema ideato e realizzato nella seconda metà degli anni ’80 dalla ditta DOM di Colonia per ovviare ad una necessità sorta nei paesi dell’area germanofona e scandinava.
In queste regioni, per vari motivi, si trovavano specifici impianti riservati ai disabili sistematicamente chiusi e con scarsa reperibilità della chiave in caso di necessità.
Vista la praticità del sistema e la sua rapida diffusione, verso la fine degli anni ’90 il concetto Eurochiave venne esteso anche ad altri paesi europei fra i quali la Svizzera.
Per quale motivo adottare il cilindro universale Eurochiave?
Semplicemente perché comporta alcuni vantaggi sia per l’utente che per il gestore: con questo sistema, una persona in carrozzella può accedere direttamente alle strutture ad esso riservate senza perdite di tempo e senza dover coinvolgere o interpellare eventuali responsabili.
I vantaggi per i proprietari e amministratori nell’ adottare questa soluzione sono essenzialmente due: il primo riguarda la minor manutenzione, controllo e pulizia delle installazioni WC mentre il secondo è relativo alla gestione amministrativa delle chiavi, che solitamente manifesta il suo lato debole nel momento del bisogno.
Reperibilità e costo per l’utente
L’Eurochiave , per esempio in Svizzera, viene consegnata direttamente al richiedente e la sua ordinazione può essere fatta presso gli uffici inclusione handicap ticino.
Ritirata personalmente, il costo della chiave ammonta a CHF 25.-, circa € 20,00.
